The Story of Arkonia

No one really knows the real origin of Arkonia.

However, the Arkonian elders, those who have read and kept ancient scrolls in their care from generation to generation, tell a story of a large asteroid of purple hue bursting in the black void, creating a group of floating rocky structures. Space fairing explorers in ships from far away, older and more ancient, stumbled upon it, and laid stake on the lands, growing colonies. Arkonia was born. Welcome to Arkonia, a limitless world of nature, magic, and technology. With floating islands surrounding the skies, fluffy bright white clouds thick enough to jump and dive on, and whirring neon technology powering equipment and tools around the islands… this is where we were all born from.

Arkonia’s untouched nature consists of the natural resources, flora, and fauna of Arkonia. No structures are built here except for the Founding Home, the Ark of Dreams, and Floating Citadels. spread across the whole world of Arkonia.

Floating Citadels are composed of a number of residential areas with a shopping district, and portals to various pocket worlds, some untapped.. There are an unknown number of islands in Arkonia, and some that have yet to be discovered.

Pocket worlds are user-created spaces made by avatars, brands, or the Founding Arkonians. The only limit to what you can do in pocket worlds is your imagination. These could be events, games, experiences, additional homes, rental homes, commercial spaces, and so much more. All your NFT assets can be placed in these pocket worlds. The only rule is that you cannot create another pocket world in a pocket world (but you can make rooms and structures)!

High-tech structures and tools used by Arkonians are all built on floating islands. No such structures are allowed on Arkonia’s nature area except for the Dream Towers, the Founding Home, and the Ark of Dreams.

The old Arkonia ruins are the old structures that existed before “The Event”, built on Arkonia itself, and are now covered with nature itself. These are untouched since “The Event” 5000 years ago, and contain much of Arkonia’s history.

Secret and locked areas also exist in Arkonia, for reasons unknown. Feel free to explore to discover some of them.

The environment is a mix of:

• Arkonia’s untouched nature (healed from “The Event”);

• Floating Citadels (in the sky) for dwelling, commerical and technological structures;

• Pocket worlds (not seen in the map, only accessible with an in-game wearable);

• High-tech structures and tools (made by Arkonians old and new);

• Old structures (from the old world before “The Event”), and;

• Secret and locked areas.

The goal of the game is to keep your meta-identity (avatar) happy, healthy, and fulfilled.

To do that, there are three things that you can do in the game:

1. Quests - Once completed, your avatar will level up and gain in-game tokens. This includes daily quests, discovery quests, and exploration quests.

2. Events - When you participate, you get various rewards and bonuses dependent on the event. These are random and can include AoD events, storyline events, and even branded campaigns.

3. Exploration - When you explore Arkonia, the Ark of Dreams metaverse, you may encounter various unpublished surprises, quests, rewards, and bonuses.

4. Treasure Hunt - With Augmented Reality, you may encounter several treasure hunt activities with our Partner Merchant Establishments that will allow you to earn Arkon Crystals or Partner Prizes.

The goal of the game is to keep your meta-identity (avatar) happy, healthy, and fulfilled.

To do that, there are three things that you can do in the game:

Shopping District (Meta-commerce)

The shopping district is the home of brands and businesses (micro, small, or big businesses alike). This is where you will find your islands’ Brand HQ, shops, and pocket worlds. Events are usually held at the Shopping District as this is the biggest space of land in every island.

• Design their Brand HQ, and;

• Create their own pocket worlds.

• Have fun in various activities, events, and experiences;
